It's been an amazing first week and we are delighted with the enthusiasm of everyone taking part whether walking or following us. We never thought we would cover the miles quite so quickly so we have extended the walk to take in John O' Groats and part of the west coast of Scotland. In our first week we walked 783 miles collectively. We have gone past two of our Capitals, London and Edinburgh and towards the end of the week we stormed through John O'Groats and we are well on the way to Fort William.

Take a look at our
Photos to see some of the lovely places we have been to on our virtual walk so far.

Our aim is to raise at least £1000 in sponsorship and donations. Watch the thermometer to see how we are doing. If you would like to support us, please go to our donations page where we have a 'pot' specially for the walk. There is the facility to gift aid your donation too if you are able. Donations can also be made via our Just Giving page.

There is still time to join in with our walk, We are asking for a small registration fee of £2 per individual or £5 per family. Please go to our Registration  page if you would like to walk with us. (Don't worry if it looks like you are buying tickets! There is no need to print them) If you can get some sponsorship too, that would be great.

Many thanks to all who have registered to join our walk or made donations especially all those who are not BLC members. We really appreciate your support.

Walkers, we are updating our progress twice a week so please
log miles/steps on Thursday and Sunday evenings by 9pm by sending them to Hazel, socialsec@basingstokeladieschoir.co.uk

Many thanks.
