Our Christmas Concert took place in All Saints’ Church, sometimes spoken of as Basingstoke's 'hidden gem', a beautiful place for this event. Little did we know that this would be our last concert for some time! A sell out audience was treated to a superb and entertaining mix of music including songs to join in with, which they did with great gusto. We were joined by 'A Splash of Red’, a choir from Fairford in Wiltshire, who added their own entertaining twist to that Christmas perennial 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. We couldn’t have a Christmas concert without some of the much-loved traditional carols which everyone sang accompanied by Chris Olding on the organ. It was a pleasure too, to be joined by our Mayor, Cllr Diane Taylor, a great supporter of the musical scene in Basingstoke, and her consort and husband Andy Taylor. Proceeds from this concert went to Home-Start.
